Alf Rehn
Professor Alf Rehn
The venerable British newspaper Times, writing about business gurus, called him a "star of the future". The 2009 Thinkers 50, the listing of the world's top 50 business thinkers, included him on their Guru Radar, ranking him #13 among the Up and Coming Business Thinkers. In Scandinavia, he is known as an academic enfant terrible. His name is Alf Rehn, he has a chair of management and organization, a professorship of innovation and entrepreneurship, and an odd outlook on life. In addition to this he is active as a columnist, an author, and a sought-after speaker. As a thought-leader and a trickster he has challenged and amused people in a plethora of fields and in a number of countries.
One of the most important links in the legendary Nokia Plc. Dream Team 1991 > Anssi was a member of the Executive Board of Nokia Plc. for over ten years, 1998-2010. He is currently also Chairman at Amer Sports Plc.
In 2007 Businessweek listed him among the 20 most significant people affecting the development of the Internet. He was also awarded with the Mobile Entertainment Forum's Personal Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
Founder of Finnish Community of Entrepreneurship, Hans-Peter Siefen, is an entrepreneur and coach whose vital advice include ethics and fair play towards the client, environment and partners as well as the competition.
A member of the European Parliament, Eija-Riitta Korhola is a well-known promoter for the environment. She is currently preparing a dissertation on climate policy for the University of Helsinki. Korhola has also been an entrepreneur herself and organized business coaching. When Korhola was vice president for the Coalition Party her three most important political goals were the climate, the Baltic Sea and human rights. Her political career has been impressive and she takes a bold stand in difficult questions.
Professor Pekka Himanen obtained his PhD in Philosophy at the incredibly young age of 20. Himanen is an internationally acclaimed researcher of the information age. His work has been published in over 20 languages. Professor Himanen has a role in many of the reflection groups in the World Economic Forum. These groups consist of some of the best thinkers in the world, for example the founders of Google, Facebook and Wikipedia. One of Himanen's initiatives is Global Dignity, co-founded with Haakon, the Crown Prince of Norway, and president Barack Obama's advisor John Bryant. Patrons of the initiative include archbishop Desmond Tutu, Queen Rania of Jordan and entrepreneur Richard Branson. Pekka Himanen is a strong advocate for responsible business, preservation of the right for a dignified life and enviromental responsibility.
Al Gore won the Nobel Peace prize in 2007 for his work on environmental issues. The same year the documentary 'An Inconvenient Truth' won two Oscars (eg. best documentary). How is this truth looking now, four years later in 2011? Al Gore will answer this question at the Finnish Community of Entrepreneurship weekend seminar!

In order to prepare for the seminar mind and body, and so achieve the maximum benefit, a morning exercise session has been arranged for Saturday morning from 7.30am to 8.30am. The session is organized with the Trainers' House Fight Club, and is free of charge.
Trainers’ House Fight Club
Fight Club, our training program which aims for high personal wellness, has been used successfully for the last two and a half years. The program develops both the mind and the body, and aims to change lives, thinking and fitness levels significantly and measurably. Central in the Fight Club program are early morning exercise sessions in good company, where every participant trains to reach their individual targets, which are set with health professionals.
The program works, and the results speak for themselves. The fitness levels of participants have gone up by 30% on average. Also, numerous participants have either reached improved blood pressure levels or managed to drop diabetes medication because of the program. The groups have felt a surge in energy and both mental and physical endurance.

Bruce Oreck
Bruce Oreck, U.S. Ambassador to Finland
The U.S. Ambassador to Finland is a lawyer and businessman specialized in environmental issues. He is the founder of the Zero Carbon organization. Its goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions which accelerate global warming.
Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb (to be confirmed)
The Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Alexander Stubb has risen to a formidable popularity due to his impeccable performance record. Prior to being appointed minister, Stubb was a member of the European Parliament. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from the London School of Economics in 1999. His responsibilities as minister include, among others, human rights issues and enviromental topics such as the health of the Baltic Sea and climate policy issues. Minister Stubb naturally has a very large role in Finland's international relations and promoting international commerce.
Founder and CEO of Trainer's House Corporation, Jari Sarasvuo, has achieved a solid status as a business coach and a promoter in business growth projects. A multitalented visionary who was awarded best entrepreneur in the Entrepreneur Of The Year -competition in 2003. In 2008 the Finnish businessmens' association chose Jari as Businessman Of The Year.
Les Brown is one of the best known motivational speakers in the world. His passion and mission in life is to encourage people to take hold of their lives and to grow and enjoy life. This is the first possibility to see Les Brown in Finland and the second time in the Nordic countries.

On the second day of the seminar, Saturday, there will be a 1.5h lunchbreak. During this longer break a Business lunch will take place in Paviljonki. It has been carefully designed for networking, and is free for all seminar participants.
All organizations with at least five participants in the seminar have a table reserved in their name at the Business lunch. These tables accommodate approximately 10 people.
Every seminar participant has a map of the reserved tables in their seminar handout. The map can also be found as a poster on-site. This way everyone has a chance to seek the table that interests them the most and network during the lunch. The timeframe has been organized so that there is enough time for plenty of discussion and moving around the tables.
